Velvet revolution going on in Latin America

At Scope Basel Wanrooij Gallery showed only one work on velvet, but in spite of that it was spotted by the Latin American magazine ARTE AL LÍMITE.

In an email to the gallery an editor wrote: ...I am writing you from behalf of Ana María Matthei and Ricardo Duch, directors of the magazine, whom you met in Basel. We really liked the work of Bert Vredegoor... It is amazing! ...As they told you there, our magazine is interested in publishing an extensive article about his work, career and future projects for one of our upcoming issues.

Now an article of 8 pages (Spanish/English) is published in the November edition with the headline: De la oscuridad a la luz, de la luz a la vida. And this story goes a little further than one in a local newspaper: ...Arte Al Límite magazine takes part annually in more than 50 fairs, such as Art Basel, Scope, Pinta, Liste, Pulse, Art Madrid, Arco Madrid, SH. Contemporary, Art Shanghai, among others. We have representatives in New York, Miami, Madrid, Milan, Buenos Aires and México. It publishes 8.000 exclusive issues in every luxury edition and reaches key galleries and the most important collectors around the world.

Furthermore the work Into Purity was added to their international Arte Al Límite Collection.
